I have painted for many years in Hawaii and been inspired by the colors, patterns, and beauty of the islands and its people.
My art today strives to celebrate the rhythm of lines and colors in both figurative and abstract works.
Portraits are a fun way to reflect the personality and psychology of the sitter.
MODERN TIMES
Chris Campbell was raised in New Orleans and. moved to New York City and Boston to complete her education. She returned to New York to study painting at the Art Students League in NYC.
After some successful shows in the northeast a move to Honolulu, Hawaii inspired a blossoming of painting style. More recently a move to the west has added new subject matter and expression.
